Author / Life & Leadership Coach
Sarah is a Navy veteran who piloted both the P-3/C and P-8/A for thousands of hours during her eleven year career. It was as an officer in the Navy that she discovered her passion for encouraging others to better themselves. She formalized that passion through higher education by earning a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a Servant Leadership concentration from Gonzaga University in 2017. Upon her departure from active duty military service in 2018, Sarah obtained her certification as a Personal and Executive Coach and launched her own life and leadership coaching business (New You Coaching, LLC). She professionally coaches others to be the best versions of themselves in every aspect of their lives and career.
Sarah is the author of the book “All About Change: How to Successfully Make Personal Life Changes,” published in December 2021. This book was inspired by many of her coaching clients who all had a similar question: How do I change? Their changes didn’t “fit” into the internet search results so they weren’t getting any guidance and they were discouraged. Sarah stepped in and designed a work book for them that was such a hit she decided to take it to the next level with a full length book.
Sarah is also an avid volunteer with military spouse organizations. She most recently volunteered as the Public Relations Director with the Okinawa Leadership Seminar on Okinawa, Japan. This seminar is designed, run, and for military spouses on Okinawa who are looking to hone their leadership skills so they can continue to impact their communities. When she is not coaching, or writing, or taking a coaching course, she enjoys long distance running, traveling, and playing for hours on the floor with her one-year- old baby girl.
